Dear Family & Friends of The Village at Brookwood:
On August 24, we will be re-instating housekeeping services to full capacity. Over the past week, Robert Brandon, Housekeeping Supervisor, has reached out to all residents to discuss re-instating housekeeping services, with the exception of trash pick-up in Village Landing. Staff will continue to pick up trash and recyclables placed outside apartment doors every morning at 10:00 AM. Trash pick-up service is temporary but will remain in effect for apartment building residents until further notice.
Our new housekeeping plan utilizes square footage as a guide to determine the amount of time designated to each unit per visit. This format allows each residence to receive equitable amount of time per visit, in a fair and efficient manner. This new plan also allows each resident the opportunity to customize their housekeeping plan based on their individual needs. Residents should relay specific requests (i.e. if they do not want a specific heirloom touched or a specific location cleaned) to Robert so that he can adjust the plan accordingly.
To maintain our COVID-19 precautions, our housekeepers will wear Personal Protective Equipment, such as masks, face shields and gloves, while cleaning each residence. To protect our staff, we ask that each resident also wear a mask while our housekeeper is cleaning thier unit. With our visitation restrictions still in effect, no personal housekeepers are allowed on campus at this time.
As always, thank you for your support, trust and patience as we collectively attempt to keep our campus safe.
-Michael Garland, Executive Director
